Welcome to the inaugural Day of the SCF-ALSACE!

We are delighted to welcome you to the very first Science Day organized by SCF ALSACE. This event will be held on March 8, 2024 in STRASBOURG at the Chemistrry Faculty on the Esplanade Campus and marks an important milestone in our drive to enliven chemistry in our beautiful and dynamic ALSACE region. 

The day is free and open to all (SCF members and non-members) but limited to 150 attendees. However, registration is compulsory.

The French Chemical Society is the glue that binds us together around the ever-evolving science of chemistry, and we hope that this day will see the ALSACE community emerge stronger and more united than ever in the face of challenges. We are heirs to an exceptional tradition of regional excellence, with researchers whose names have been recognized worldwide for decades (Friedel, Wurtz, Lebel, Fischer, Bayer, Lehn, Sauvage,...) and it is our duty today to maintain what makes Alsace such a fertile ground for innovation.

For students, this event serves as an exceptional chance to connect with like-minded peers, network with seasoned professionals, and delve into the exciting realm of scientific exploration. Whether you're a seasoned researcher or a budding scientist, this day is designed to inspire, inform, and ignite the flames of curiosity.

Join us on this journey of discovery and celebrate our spirit of sharing and passion in the chemical sciences. We hope this event is just the first of many, and that it will strengthen ties and collaborations within our regional community.
